Privacy Policy

FabWash ("the App") is developed by Samandari. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the App.

Data Collection

FabWash collects and stores the following data locally on your device. We do not have access to this data unless cloud sync is active.

Vehicle registration records (plate number, type, wash type, date)
Employee information (name, PIN hash, role)
Invoice and expense records
Client loyalty tracking data
App configuration and preferences

When online, the following data may be synced to Firebase Firestore:

All local data synced to Firebase Firestore (with automatic sync when online)

Data Usage

Your data is used exclusively to provide the App's core functionality: managing vehicle registrations, invoices, expenses, employee salaries, and client loyalty tracking. Specifically:

Local data is processed on-device to display dashboards, daily reports, and salary calculations
Cloud sync data is used to keep your carwash data consistent across sessions and devices
No data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing or advertising

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using Hive encrypted database. Employee PINs are hashed with SHA-256 before storage.

When cloud sync is active, data is transmitted securely via HTTPS to Firebase Firestore (region: africa-south1). FabWash uses the Firebase Spark (free) plan.

Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

The App may use the following third-party services:

Firebase Firestore — Cloud sync and backup

Firebase Auth — Project authentication

We do not share your data with any other third parties. No data is sold or transferred for advertising, analytics, or profiling purposes.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained on your device for as long as you use the App. You can export a JSON backup and delete data at any time from within the App's settings.

If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.

Cloud sync data on Firebase Firestore can be deleted by contacting us or through the Firebase console.

We do not use any analytics or tracking tools.

The App does not display advertisements.

PIN Authentication

FabWash uses PIN codes for admin and cashier login. PINs are hashed using SHA-256 before storage. The admin PIN is stored in the app configuration, not transmitted externally.

Cloud Sync

When online, FabWash automatically syncs data to Firebase Firestore. You can also manually push or pull data from Settings. All transfers are encrypted via HTTPS.

Backup & Restore

FabWash supports local JSON backup and restore as a fallback. Backup files are stored on your device at a location you choose.

Data Security

Your data is stored encrypted on your device using Hive with encryption keys in Flutter Secure Storage. Cloud data is transmitted via HTTPS to Firebase.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
