Data Collection

E-Sama collects and stores the following data locally on your device. We do not have access to this data, and it never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable cloud backup.

• Sales, purchases, and inventory records
• Client and supplier information
• Expense and profit reports
• App preferences and settings

If you enable cloud backup, the following data may be transmitted to Google Drive:

• Backup data synced to Google Drive (with explicit user consent)

Data Usage

Your data is used exclusively to provide the App's core functionality: managing your sales, purchases, inventory, clients, suppliers, expenses, and reports. Specifically:

• Local data is processed on-device to display your dashboards, reports, and business analytics
• Cloud backup data is used solely to restore your data on a new device or after reinstallation
• Device ID is collected solely for license verification purposes and is not linked to any personal information
• A remote configuration service is used to manage app updates, communicate important messages, and enforce license compliance

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data Storage

All your data is stored locally on your device in an encrypted database. We do not operate any servers that store your personal data.

If you enable cloud backup, your data is transmitted securely via HTTPS and stored on your personal Google Drive account. E-Sama does not have access to your Google Drive outside of the app-specific backup folder.

We do not share your data with any other third parties. No data is sold or transferred for advertising, analytics, or profiling purposes.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained on your device for as long as you use the App. You can delete any or all of your data at any time from within the App's settings.

If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.

If you have enabled cloud backup, your backup data remains on your Google Drive until you manually delete it. You can revoke E-Sama's access to your Google Drive at any time through your Google Account permissions at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Device Identification

We collect your device ID solely for license verification purposes. This ID is not linked to any personal information.

Remote Configuration

We use a remote configuration service to manage app updates, communicate important messages, and enforce license compliance.

Storage Access

E-Sama requests storage access to export and import business data backups to a location you choose on your device. This allows you to transfer data between devices or recover data in case of device loss. No files outside the app's backup folder are accessed or modified.

Bluetooth Printing

If you connect a Bluetooth thermal printer, the app uses the Bluetooth permission solely to discover and communicate with your printer. No data is sent to any external server through this connection.

Biometric Authentication

E-Sama supports fingerprint or face unlock for app security. Your biometric data is processed entirely by your device's hardware and is never accessed or stored by the app.

Data Security

Your data is stored encrypted on your device. Cloud backups are transmitted securely via HTTPS to Google Drive.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
